The display market is growing at a rapid rate, and manufacturers are introducing new models that are attractive to consumers and businesses. Polyester films are used extensively in the production of flat panel displays and touch screens. ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS
   
Polyester films are particularly beneficial in electrical and electronics uses because of good dielectric properties, heat resistance and tensile strength. PEN films are also an excellent choice for electrical and electronic products as they have a higher heat resistance and moisture resistance than polyester films. PI films offer the most heat resistance and superior chemical resistance of any films provided so they are a perfect choice for electrical applications in extremely hot, or chemically exposed environments. Polyester film is often used for wire and cable production, electrical motor insulation, membrane touch switches, capacitors and circuit boards.

PACKAGING
   

SMP Corporation supplies packaging films to companies around the world. The high quality films we provide are perfect for packaging use. The main film types in our packaging lineup are:
